Talking K&N drop in filter 08 civic.........

The civic seems doggy with out the K&N air filter, with it, it seems to be a lot more peppy. Tried it both ways, hope it doesn't mess with that sensor that is attached to the air breather assembly. input?

i hate K&N filters that require oil for one the filter element is cotton gauze which is awful at filtering air the oil is the only thing that traps the dirt. then the oil can potentially gunk up sensors with oil especially when people over oil the filter from lack of experience . if i was you i would get rid of that filter and buy a AEM dryflow filter or K&Ns new hybrid synthetic filter which is a collaboration between AEM and K&N its basically a red colored AEM filter.
