Default Keeping a nice Clutch

So yea, i'm the new guy with the 08 si. This is my first stick, but i'm not completely new to it. However, i wanted to know some good advice on keeping my clutch healthy. At the moment, i find myself slipping the clutch too much i guess because afterward i can smell the clutch burning. I wanna keep a healty clutch, any tips?

Well a piece of advice that I have been told is this:
"It's cheaper to replace your brakes than your clutch"
Basically this is in regards to the whole downshifting issue.

Your probably holding onto that clutch too long, you have to find the sweet spot and slowly let go of the clutch. If you keep your foot on it, your just damaging it
