Looking to buy EG with H22A
Car is a 93 Si with H22A, LSD transmission, Megan header, and lots more.
My question is, what problems should I look for?
Also does anyone know anything about the legality of motor swaps? Especially in Louisiana.
I don't want my car getting crushed into a cube because it has an engine swap.

Depending on how well the install was done, you may have difficulty shifting at higher rpm's. If the install was done correctly and by someone who knew what they were doing, you should have no problems whatsoever.
Now, as far as legality, I'm going to assume the engine is going to be newer than 17 years old, so you're covered in that regard. However, if you live in an area that has mandatory emissions testing, you may or may not pass given that it's a JDM motor and, as such, was built to different emissions standards.
Welcome to the forums btw

Yeah, that sounds about right. An EG hatch usually weighs somewhere around 2200lbs, and the h22 makes 200bhp (~170whp) and 160ft*lbs of torque from the factory, so the power to weight ratio is ridiculous. I've heard stories of chirping 4th, but I'm not sure how much truth there is to that. Either way, you'll be happy with an h-swapped EG.

mid 13's i doubt (simply for the lack of traction)... but if it has other parts i guess... my sister's boyfriend actually has one but its a 00' hb and sorry to say but it doesn't keep up with my moms srt charger which from what i hear is mid 12's, but we haven't tested that so idk. anyhow it should be a nice ride if done correct and if for the correct price.

well. the "price" is a straight up trade for my '90 Miata. (Excellent condition, new paint, konig wheels, falken tires, OBX dual exhaust, katzkin leather door panels, and lots more)
the Miata is an extremely fun and classy sports car...but I am considering the Civic because it's more practical (I have a daughter now) and because it will be much faster than the Miata.
As for the traction issue, I would imagine that the big Rota wheels with performance tires (not sure what brand he has on it right now) along with the LSD tranny should help with all of that.
Oh, and I thought the JDM H22A produced 220hp, not 200hp.
