Default Max PSI for Goodyear Eagle rs-a?

I've looked all around my tires, even with a magnifing glass and can not locate the max PSI for the tire other than the honda label in the door.

The goodyear sites only recommends what teh maker recommends.

I have the tires on my civic at 36PSI. I'm curious what is the max PSI I cna go with the tires?

And yes, I am trying to increase my MPG.

Thanks

The tire maker's absolute maximum pressure is always marked on the side of the tire. Never go beyond that or you risk a blowout, and you won't be able to sue anyone. Generally this pressure will give you the best gas mileage, but traction may be reduced.

The car maker's pressure rating is only for the stock rims and tire size. If you have replaced them with a different size that you're already on your own; the door sticker should be completely disregarded.

The max psi for your tires is most likely 44. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...tirePageLocQty=
Check your size then comapre it to the chart on that page.
It's amazing what you can do with yahoo.com search and ALSO google.com, maybe check it out, it really works

like he said 44 psi is about good but if those are lo pros or even not too much PSI and you could be feeling it alot worse in your butt and tires gain like 3-5 psi when warming up so again 40 PSIwould be about all I would run in it so when it warms up itll get to around 43-45 psi another thought is you could go to a tire shop and have them put nitrogen in your tires its denser and doesnt react to heat as much and your pressure wont fluctuate as much. I just learned of this stuff through my under car class like a week ago sooo yeah...

Why do you think the more inflated your tires are the mpg you will get? If you over inflate them (30-35) your max gain will be about half a MPG. Any more than 35 PSI and you're borderline R-tarded. There's no point in going higher than 35. If you want to gain MPG, drive a Prius.
