So i might be buying a civic that doesnt need a lot of work. It's a 93 hatchback 5 speed.

non v-tec apparently. I used to work with the guy selling it so i know hes not going to screw me over, i asked him every question i could think of about it and it doesnt sound too bad.

Im thinking the body kit isnt staying, but i need to buy stock parts or at least some better looking ones, i need to raise it up before winter because itll be driven in winter, i need to get a new all season tire, possibly a whole set of winter tires, i want to paint it cuz that greys ugly.

He told me it needs a new driver side balljoint and new shifter bushings. Apparently squeeks like hell with the bad balljoint. His gas guage went bad not too long ago so he got a new cluster and its off an automatic car with 260k on it apparently so instead of showing the 210k it had it shows 260k. Would it be possible to get new gauges and stuff that shows the right amount of kms and is meant for a 5 speed? can i just raise the car with the current coil springs or whatever i need? thanks
