RE: Miles Per Gallon (MPG) Record?
95 ex coupe d16z6 vtec 5 speed...i usually get about 28-30mpg with windows all the way down just about everytime i drive...this past sunday i had a lil less than half a tank of gas, drove 40miles to race, raced about 5miles all together(HARD high rev racing..), and drove about 50miles back(stopped for food)...and still had enough gas to last me the next couple days to drive to and from school

Just curious, what are you guys using to get the MPG info?
Are you resetting the trip every time you refill the tank, or what?
I own a 2006 EX Sedan.
(This is also my first post here. I've been reading for a while now.)

RE: Miles Per Gallon (MPG) Record?
nah dont keep resetting on every fill up. run around 2 tank fulls calc the amount of gallons you out into the car and the milage you got at the end. its way more accurate then just calculating at every fill up.

i reset the odometer every time i fill up, i usually only calculate my MPG when i get a full tank of gas and run it all the way to E. just divide the number of miles driven by the number of gallons it took to fill the tank and theres ur estimated MPG...

This was what I averaged for the month of July, so I used the air cond. most of the time. 90% of the driving I do is highway from NY to PA. I will do another test in October to see what I can get without the A/C on. I must also say that I sit in a lot of stop and go traffic, but I also try and watch my accel speeds so that I do not burn too much gas. I am driving a 2003 civic ex no mods except tint, and spoiler.
