Default Motor Swap ?

okay so im buying the 95 sedan with a blown head gasket in hopes the head isnt wrecked but in case it is what motor should i find to swap in, remember im on a VERY STRICT budget because im married and have a child. I was thinking about swapping a ZC from nippon motors because i can get the motor, trans, and ecu for around 1k but what else would i need? or i could just get a or i can get a b18b motor for around 800 but then again what else would i need?
thanks alot for the help im wantin to figure this out so we may have another project going soon. but i need your input because im a noob so please enlighten me.

Then add on:
$400 for swap mounts
$400 for swap axles
A new clutch (might as well replace it while the engine/trans is out of the car)
Water pump (again, a great idea to swap it out before putting the engine in)
Timing chain
Timing chain tensioner
Spark plugs
Plug wires
Distributor

H22 swaps tend to cost about the same as a GSR swap when it's all said and done.

if it indeed just has a bad head, then why not search your local craigslist for a head? i would be surprised if a sohc non vtec head went for more than $175. cheap fix man, and if i can pull a head, so can u. why swap to an archaic zc? its not meant for your chassis. someone enlighten me, can u run obd1 on a zc without doing a conversion? i imagine its a headache. a zc is nonvtec. why not just save the money and buy a good head? then u can use whats left of your $1000 budget on some rotas and tires, and maybe some lowering springs.

How much will you have to spend on the car to get it running again?

i can get a head pretty cheap and then add 200 to whatever the head cost me for the gaskets, oil and filter changed, air filter changed on the cai. then im going to probably build a b18 turbo for it and drop it in by summer since my budget got a little bigger my wife said 300 a month out of my paycheck can goto the car, so im gonna fix any dings/dents and get the car painted just not exactly sure what color would look good on a 95 sedan im thinking like a silver color. and can someone direct me to a website to get parts beside pwjdm i already know whats coming from there and i found some nice rota wheels im gonna buy

if you are gonna fix the sohc, then FIX the sohc. no need in doing a swap. get a bisimoto turbo cam, some good springs and retainers, and boost the d series man. you can get enough power out of it to make you happy, i promise. unless you have your heart set on a dual cam, then i understand. almost forgot, what parts are you looking for? i have no way of reccomending a site if i dont know what youre after!
