Default N/A or Forced Induction

Hello, I just purchased a b16a first gen. and I'm putting it into an EF.

My goal is to reach around 300 hp, and my question is it cheaper to replace stock internals with performance oriented parts, or to just purchase a turbo kit.

i not a pro or anything, but from what i've seen turbo would be cheaper. but N/A is always more reliable. and if you build a bad a** N/A, and wanted more power later on down the road, you could always turbo it then.

With a b16 it would cost far more to make hp with na than turbo. Either way youre going to want to swap internals. 300hp youre going to need to turbo. with a turbo kit alone you will not be able to make 300 unless you build your motor or else KABOOM Lets see the pics of the ef!!!!!

yeah i'll get some pics up this weekend.

I have one picture on here, but its burried in all the topic threads.. I'll take some on saturday... 360 view, some of the current engine, and some of the engine thats going into it.

I plan on building up the engine quite a bit... I have 10g's to spend on it so in the next 6 months it will be transforming quite a bit.

I think with all that money, I would do an N/A build. 300WHP N/A is going to be better than 300WHP from forced induction.

You really should have got a different engine though, like a B18.

I was gonna try and build a 89 SiR replica.. figured the b16a was the right engine for that job... btw does anyone know any good websites to find SiR front bumpers hoods headlights, tail lights, rear bumpers .. etc etc...
