need advice on civic purchase
I want to know if I am paying a fair price on an 89 civic si hatchback. Here are the details:
asking price $2k
150,000+ miles on the frame
swapped d16z6 engine in it and transmission and cv shafts etc (approx 19,ooo miles on all)
performance exhaust
lowered 4 inches on adjustable coilovers
black steelies not blades
90% tread
bigger radiator
new battery
short shifter
rear disk brake conversion
very clean interior
straight body
integra leather wrapped steering wheel
short ram air intake
a few small dingsand dents, paint is kind of oxidized
large crack in windshield on passenger side.
This guy put alot of work into this car. I don't want to insult him with a lower price but I don't want to overpay. Since I don't know much about all of this- what do you think? would you pay that? It needs a little more aesthetic work but is def driveable. Would you sell that car for $2k if it were yours? why/why not?

What is it worth to you? If you had to sell it in 3 months due to some unforeseen event or circumstances do you think someone else would pay $,$$$.....? Value is relative. Prime Civics go for over Blue Book in my area and are as rare as hens teeth in good shape.
