Need Help Installing Stero system
hey guys if you can help that would be great.....I have a 94 civic cx hatchback and this is the first project i am doing on my car. I have decided im done sending the car in to get fixed or install new parts so i want to start doing things my self. My goal is to eventually do everything my self
Back to why I am starting this thread...So i bought a sony cdx-gt54oui stereo radio thing and i want to remove my stock one and replace it with this and I was wondering if any1 could provie a link to or give me detailed instructions on how to do this myself... Thanks a lot I know this is annoying but I do not know and I need to start somewhere....
Also if this is not the best way to learn how to do this maybe someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks

It's not called grounding the car, I don't think. That doesn't really make sense.
But yes, you need to unhook the battery (removing the negative terminal only is enough, you don't have to unhook both) to remove the current from the electrical system.

Generally look for and unscrew any support attached to the back end of the unit, pull the trim ring off from around the outside of the front, and release the latches at the sides and slide it out. The latch tools that came with your new Sony may work to remove the old one.
