so in order to keep my current milage on my cluster, I have to remove my speedometer from the one i have and put it on the other cluster that i'm getting?
Don't bother with that. it's only illegal to roll back the milage, if you replace the cluster and it is not the correct milage then that is ok. is your speedometer work though you can do that if you want

yeah, but if you leave exchange the odometer/speedometer section as a whole from cluster to cluster, you don't have to disclose a discrepancy in the mileage when titling/registerring a vehicle

plus it's easy to do

^ on it being easy to do, theres just a few screws on the back of hte cluster to pull each indivdual face off (gas gauge, speedo, eng. temp/tamp). The speedo one includes the odometer, so when you have both clusters out take the speedo from the old one and put it in the new one and you're all set Just make sure to not pull the needles off, they WONT go back on.

ok kool, thanks for the info. Ima get an Si cluster, Since i have a JDM b16. I want to see whats my redline with my set up.
