Need Help taking out my air condition unit out

Recover the refrigerant. System must be at zero pressure when disconnecting lines. Remove the battery from the car and disconnect the two lines on the aluminum block at the firewall behind the battery. Stop up the lines and ports to keep dirt and moisture out.
Unscrew the hinges and remove the glove compartment. Remove reinforcing bar behind the bottom of the glove compartment. Unplug the thermal control (the gray wires are permanently attached, so leave the control in place on top of the box). Also unplug the resistor, air selector motor, etc so you can move the wiring harness to the left out of the way. Remove the straps on the sides of the evaporator box. Push the drain tube off of the nipple on the bottom of the box. Finally remove the screws and nuts holding the box to the firewall. I think there are 2 on top and one at the bottom. Pull the evaporator box out of the car as a unit.
Why are you wanting to do this again? There's basically nothing to see behind it.

You are talking about the heater box then not the A/C evaporator. Air flows from the blower box on the far right side, through the evaporator box (if equipped, car that never had A/C will have a blank duct there) then to the heater box in the center of the car, and from there to the dash vents. So a ring dropped into the vent is going to land in the heater box, not the evaporator, if it makes it out of the vent ducts from the heater to the vents.
Ultimately the whole dash may need to be removed to recover the ring here, but that really isn't that difficult. The center and left vent grilles are part of the cluster trim, you might find the ring just removing it where you get a better view into the duct. That is step one of removing the dash anyway.

OK that part is the HVAC control panel. First remove the trim around it. There are two screws at bottom, two at top sides, one you have to open the glove compartment to reach. Then remove the radio. If it's a stock radio (or a well-installed aftermarket radio) there will be a bolt in the back. Reach up through the radio hole and unscrew 3 screws holding the control panel in. Those screws are black. The gold ones hold the panel together, don't remove those.
