Your car looks very clean as in beautiful paint and wax job...I really like the color.

First Id pay off the $1,000 on it, before anything else...

Then as you mentioned, put back in the stock rear lights...maybe theres a local civic club near your place, and someone is selling them for cheap so it would be less than $100 for sure...I could have gotten 2 mint seats for my EX for 100, so who knows how cheap if a deal comes along...

Id also delete thesticker and the pin-stripe...I dont think its that hard, either you peel off with a hair-dryer, or a rubberspin disk attachement (best left to pros)...be careful the paint underneathhas not faded...so maybe leave the stripe on...or test in a real small area...

Yeah, and why would you ditch the car if it doesnt pass e-test ? In my area if you pay $300 to fix it they pass you for 2 years, even if it passes or not...and some garages do a pre-test for you for a small fee so you can see if it would pass before it takes the official test...

Keep the car and enjoy it if it runs fine, e-tests are pretty stupid...

If it fails emissions, why would you get rid of the car instead of just fixing it?!!
I've made the attempt countless times
It all started when I got a straight pipe
I then 6 months later bought a hi flow cat
didnt solve the problem
so I drilled a holy 1.5 feet back and put the new bung there
no difference
I then replaced the o2 sensor
still no difference, i'm at a loss at how to fix it :/

As for lowering, how much are a good set of springs and any links?

the gas lid is actually transparent

1 have you tried an OEM exhaust system???

2 and some of that... erm i forget what its called but you feed a cup full into the engine, then it konks out you wait a while and then start her up and a load of white smoke comes out

3 Tear **** the car around, give it absolute death before you go for the test, that should also help[:-]

1.) Oem cat?
2.) Seafoam, but that actually caused more trouble in my car than it did helping
3.) lol

I like "TheInternet's" response, maybe I should pay it off first etc. before worrying about what to do with it
