Default need some feedback

Ok...I have a general question that won't fit into any one particular section for mods so I'll ask it here. Anyway...I just bought an 08 Si Coupe...and I love it. It is replacing my 93 DX hatch which I will be selling soon...love that car too but...ok getting off subject.

Anyway....

I'm curious of what bolt on type mods will get some better preformance out of the Si. I'm not looking to get into the internals of the engine because I would like to keep it under warranty (for now). And a chip is out as well...since they told me that if I put an aftermarket chip in it the warranty is void. And apparently the computer will let the tech know if the chip has been switched and then replaced with the stock one for taking it to the shop....at least that was what I was told.

So any ideas???

Well I'm afraid you can't do too much to improve performance without getting into the engine.

Lower the car will improve handling, adding better, lower provile tyres will also. But I can't see how this wouldn't void your warranty.

In theory, you can modify whatever you want and the warranty on the rest of the car is still valid. Legally they can only deny a warranty repair if it is evident that a modification caused the problem. But practically, if you show up with a heavily modified car, they will accuse you of abusively driving it or something like that and deny the warranty.
