Exclamation Need some help with my car project!!!

I just bought a 2001 Civic EX that was already swapped with a 2002 DOHC VTech engine! What I want to know tho is what type of engine can I put in to really give it some power. I also want to make my Civic pure JDM and was wondering if anyone could suggest any websites that would really help me out with out. I would really appreciate any and all help that you all offer.

post pics of your car. oh its not VTECH that is a house phone brand you can buy at walmart. its VTEC

post pics of this dohc vtec motor thats swapped in your car.

the best swap if you have $$ is the k20. do a little more research. google will tell you alot, then if you have any questions about the information you learned ask us and we can help you out.

Well since it's already swapped as he said above ^ a K20 is your best bet or you could possible boost the engine you have now.

^ I was about to say that. 2002 DOHC VTEC (civic-wise, anyway) = K20a3.

If the intake manifold is black plastic and is at the front of the engine bay, it's a K20a3. If that's the case, boost it. Actually, if you'd really want to get into it, swap a K20a2 head on with a K-series 6spd transmission from an RSX-S (both will bolt right up AFAIK) and then boost it.
