Need some serious help!!!!!!!!!
I just bought a 1997 civic with an H22 engine already installed. I will go ahead and say that i am not really a tuner guy. I need something for gas mileage and i like speed so i had to have something good on gas and something that was a little "peppy". I got a 89' mustang with around 530 horses and the motors are totally different. I don't really know what little things you can do to these engines that help quite a bit. I have also noticed that it is hard to find parts for these engines. From looking at receipts and looking on the outside of the engine i can tell that it had all completely forged internals, underdrive pulleys, AEM cam gear, ported and polised heads, racing clutch, cold air kit, and a few more little odds and ends stuff. I guess what i am trying to ask is what would be good to add to make power on a budget and where can i find parts for it. Please get back with me with some answers. Thanks.

RE: Need some serious help!!!!!!!!!
you could always look into upgrading the valvetrain and adding stage II cams. Does it have a header or a cat-back exhaust yet? Because if not, those are two things that will help free up a little power.
