Default new car, few ?'s

when it comes to me buying a new car, because of todays rising fuel costs( and i hate spending $150 a week in my jeep GC), my dad has decided hes trading in my jeep and buying me another car. I have found a 95 civic SI coupe. I do not know much about this car other then the fact i am getting it for $2000 with any rim and tire i want as the guy who owns it also owns a tire and rim shop. The rims ihave chosenare the voxx T209's with toyo proxes T1R's. what im wondering is basically the stock hp of this car and its fuel mileage. and am I getting it for a good price?

Depends. How the mileage. and the condition of the car. If its all good then I say[sm=smiley20.gif] since you get any rim/tire choice you want.

i have the same year and model. i've owned it for almost 2 years and except for any maintenance/upgrades the car has given me no troubles. from specs i've read the d16z 6 motor puts out 125hp. i forget the mileage i get sincei aint checked it for a while. if the car is in good shape and has reasonable mileage than i say go for it. definitely get it checked out for accidents cuz that stuff can lead to trouble in the future. $2000 plus wheels and tires seems like a great deal to me, is this US or CDN?

It's a SOHC, but it does have vtec. It's rated at 125hp at the crank. You'll probably be seeing around 30mpg with it, though I usually run about 17mpg (but it's all city driving).
