Default New comer, New project

I just bought a 1998 honda civic LX. I want to squeeze a bit more performance out of the engine. I have been researching many websites and it seems we can safely run 6-8 lbs of boost on our engines without modifying internals. Is this true and does this apply to a manual transaxle as well? I am thinking of the following upgades:

Garett Turbo Kit at 8lbs boost (180-200 hp)
Heavy duty ACT clutch
Lightweight flywheel
Magna Flow exhaust (Have this on my truck for 2 years and sounds like the day it was new. Mean!!!)
Some nice looking, quality rims (need advice)
2" drop
Better brakes (2 wheel disc slotted light weight)
Suspension upgrades
Carbon fiber hood and trunk painted car color

Any advice? I still have to research non-engine related upgrades.
I want to look stock but be fast.

Well the engine you got is pretty hard to get more power out of it, so yeah a turbo would be the best thing for it

keep in mind greddy turbo kit does not come with intercooler and i'm not sure about the bov...the edelbrock kit is more complete if you're going the kit route.

I think the heavy duty Act clutch is a littleover kill. For that amount of power the sport one would be fine. But it looks like you've done some research, so your on the right track. If your going to upgrade the clutch minus well save up for a lighter flywheel as well.
