if they cut like 2-3 inches out of the middle of the car and dropped it down and rewelded it and repainted it, with some smaller rims and drop the wing it would look really good.

No it dont.

K24 = 200hp 180tq

K20 = 220hp 150tq

 

but if the K20 has a higher output than the K24, why are people swapping the K24 into the new SI's

 

it's kinda the new CRVTec, they're putting k20a2 heads on k24 blocks.

 

People are swapping the TSX engines because the higher displacement/lower CR is pretty ideal for forced induction. That's what they HASPORT Civic SI kit is based off of. They bought a trainload of TSX's that flipped in transit and ripped the engines out to swap into SIs.

And the TSX already has VTEC, so swapping a K20 head isn't really the same as an LS/VTEC... more like a mini-me.
