Not a smart idea to boost it because it has a higher compression ratio The b18c5 has an 11:1 ratio

I thought B18c1 wasa good boost motor. Even if your going N/A it still had some good Tq. 540Whp is PLENTY for a street car. 300 is plenty for a light car such as a civic.

keep in mind i said i am fully building it..so i can always get low compression pistons.

your gonna need to do more than that if your boosting for serious power.

your going to need to sleeve the block and get bigger fuel injectors, true aftermarket engine managemen, new intake, exhaust and probably performance engine mounts (like $$$ hasports) to keep the engine from ripping your cars engine bay apart.

i dunno, i would still go with the b16a2. it is fairly lighter than the b18c1 and i just like the b16s. that is a bias opinion so dont decide of what i think.
