Nice car, Chimera02EX
This is for all the 7th gen people.
I've been looking for a Civic for a while now, and as most of you know, I almost bought an 2001 EX.
I'm still looking, but having trouble deciding what to buy. Now, the more i see the 2001, the more I like them. I notice that the new (say 2005) Civics are a bit different on the rear end, and I don't like the newer style.
My question is: When did the rear end (body style) change between 2001 and 2005?

Yeh, I was looking for a 2000 SiR or a Hatchback at a decent price, but if I can't find one, I was thinkin of going with a newer model. I don't like the looks of the 2001-2005 Si, and the other Civics are starting to grow on me the more I look at them.

From what I saw, on the 2001 the rear of the trunk kinda goes up (and follows the lines of the rest of the body). The 2005 rear starts to go downward a bit from the rear window and back.
I like the looks of the 2001, but I think if I buy a 7th gen Civic, I'll buy a 2002 or up, that way most of the bugs are out of it (with the change or changes). I don't know if they made any more changes other than the rear.
