RE: noob question
well right now im in the process of finding a job. i plan on this being a long term project. starting with the cheaper fixes that can boost performance. as far as HP. i wouldnt even kno. im not really experienced with performance..well cars really. im a good mechanic but as far as specs....i wouldnt kno. i dont kno what potential these engines have but i have heard recomendationns to swap in a B series engine. i really want to get in to raceing. not drag or speedway, but road corses and hopefully drift.

RE: noob question
Sorry bro but you cant drift in a civic. You need RWD to drift. Honda engines are amazing really. They can be monsters with turbo's and superchargers but also N/A. If you want to go N/A throw a GSR, k20, or b16 or something in your car and build them. If you want to go turbo just stick with your engine and buy a turbo kit. For road racing I would say go N/A so throw a k20 in your car and go fast. Whats your budget?

RE: noob question
i knew u had to have RWD to drift. ill have to get another car for that. but i have seen some cheep forms of "drifting" in front wheel drives. it's more or less sliding...lol
on topic...im limited on money at the moment but i will get however much i need in time. (one of the reasons i want to start cheep and work up.) engine swaps are pretty much gonna b out of the question right now as i lack the experience and resources to do it. i bought my car as a "fix up project" use the engine i have unless i just happen to find a good deal, and go from there.

RE: noob question
Your in luck. Cause you can over time save up and about 2k, you can have around 200 whp. It can also be decently effeicant. I cant speak first hand on this. But there are a few on this site that have boosted their Y8
