Default Not sure if this belongs here...sorry if it doesn't.

I am new to the Civic family and this forum. I purchased my 07 RR EX about 3 weeks ago with just 5 miles on it...we are now just under 900 miles. I must say that I LOVE this car. But I have one complaint....the INTERIOR!!! It is crap. You just barely touch the door panel with you foot and it leaves a white scuff mark that will not go away. I have tried everything. My son rubbed the glove box with his jeans and it left a white mark. I mean jeans for crying out loud. I have been to the dealership about this problem and was pretty much left feeling like I was being petty. I was told it was "wear and tear"...On a car that is just 3 weeks old??? I think it is ridiculous. I called Honda last week and complianed and was told that my complaint would be sent to the engineers for suggestions with future models. How does that help me??? It does not![:@] I really do not know what to do about this. I am considering seeing if i could trade it...which I really do not want to do. It is a great car, all but this. It is to the point that I don't want anyone riding in my car for fear of someone bumping the door. That is not FAIR!!! I bought it to enjoy...not to look at in the driveway. Anyone have any sugggestions. Thanks in advance!!!

Try using a vinyl protectant, and see if that helps.

I have the same problem with my '06. And this winter was not kind to my door and rocker panels. They are all scuffed up. I haven't even tried to clean it up yet. Waiting for a nice weekend. Its that weird plastic they use, kind of a flat black plastic.
If anyone has any ideas how to get rid of the scuff marks on 8th gen interiors let us know, eh?

Have you tried the Armorall Extreme protection gel? I think thats what ti is called. It is a Yellow gel. It covers up everything in my car and leaves it shiny for weeks. I put it on before winter and about a month into winter the plastic near my doorjamb was covered in salt and foot scuffs. Wiped it off and it was still shiny underneath. Good stuff!
