Hopefully still on topic: Is there any way to make the doors more resistant to slim jims? Could tacking on a plate above the linkage in the door help this?

Here Cvcrcr99. thats a DIY for the Hood release cable.

It also has a whole bunch of good ways to protect your car, like the kill switch.
