Default Old engine in new Honda Civic?

I was just reviewing the post to identify my engine type so I went and looked into the place where the engine type and number should be. I found it and it was: D17Z4 5000237. It also says VTEC on the engine and VTEC and VTI on the rear bumper. I came back to search and see what type of engine I have and it seems this type is pretty old and could not find any other information on it. There were few posts saying something about supercharged engine but apparently this is very old type.
But my civic is 2004 model. I am confused now.
Can somebody explain me please what the situation is here?

I've never heard of a D17z4. There is a D15z4 that's found in 96-00 Civics outside of the USA though.

The D17 engines were only really found in 2001-2005 Civics. Your engine is likely the correct one for the car.

Yes I am outside US - in Azerbaijan. I am the second owner and this car has been ordered in 2005 through the dealer here. Quite possible that we were getting middle east models exported here. It also seems to be Asian model as most of Asian models have VTi on the rear.

Anything about HP of this engine?
