Default old school civic

my friend bought a old school 89 si hatch for 800 dollers a few weeks ago. When he bought it he was running on 3 cylinders most the time and you could hear the 4th try to kick in everyonce in a while. We replaced the plugs and the wires, and the engine started running pretty good again. Last night my friend with a eclipse gs was talkin some **** so my friend was like.. race me. they went out and raced and my friends civ won.. lol.. i dont think ive ever seen anything so funny. anyway.. for it being a non vtec sohc engine... not bad huh?

This friend should be embarassed for two reasons. One, talking **** with a GS Eclipse (please tell me it's stock!), nuff said. Two, getting taken by a vehicle that was giving out 75% and probably less as of a few weeks ago. I'd start thinking about changing my ride if I were this guy.

As for your buddy who picked up the Si, good for him. How many miles does it have on it and what state are you in?

I'd say that was a good deal then. Not too much in the way of underground racing going on up there in Montana I'd imagine. Those wide open spaces must be nice though.

That's sweet. My friend also has an 89 but I do not think it is an si even thought it is a hatchback. Anyways he has a new e brake and does 180's in the school parking lot all the time. He is ballsy though because his dad is the admin.

Just brings back some memories. I used to have it too few years back. It's underpower but for some reason it's a damn fun car to drive. I still love those till now
