kit is not from ebay but www.cxracing.com website here: http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=TOKT

and what exactly does "ebay kit" mean? You can buy greddy/turbonetics turbo kits on ebay... I chose cxracing because it was cheaper and the reviews seem to be 50/50. Plus i did not have 3 grand to spend... also, I never said it took three "highly knowledgeable" people.. it took three people "who know what we are doing" the weekend because we spent most of our time bull ****ting and drinking.. Lol.

Also, after adding this mod to my vehicle it increased performance drastically. Im a newbie when it comes to turbo kits so its good enough for me ^_^

I would definitely recommend a better turbo kit if you plan on racing or something.. but this is a daily driver only ever gonna push 5-6 pounds.

It's still basically an eBay kit. By "eBay kit" we're talking about the generic no-name kits on eBay. This is one of them. The manifolds are known to crack, and the turbo seals are known to go out prematurely. It's just not durable stuff at all... regardless of whether you're racing or not.

Basically with cars, this is how it goes...

Pick 2... cheap, fast, or reliable.

Not necessarily true... I have a buddy who had an SS Autocrome turbo kit (one of the cheapest on ebay) on his '95 hatch. He had the kit on his car for almost a year, pushing 8 pounds on the street, 10 on the track, to a B18C1. Believe me, he ran that car HARD, on the street and the track. He never had a problem in the year he owned the car with the kit, and he sold it about 6 months ago, and we still see it around with the turbo still on it. I guess it's hit or miss when it comes to ebay turbos.

EDIT: For the record, CX Racing makes one of the most popular kits sold on ebay.

i recommend you reinforce the manifold and use some heat wrap. And paint it to avoid rust.

It's entirely hit or miss. That's the whole reason not to buy a generic eBay kit. It's like buying an $800 lottery ticket.

well id think i will go with the more reliable turbo. just so i dont have a 50/50 shot of getting a good or bad one. And there again you pay for reliablity.

Cyphen, you don't want this kit. It's a CXRacing kit (generic eBay).
