question about CF hoods....
ok well my hood has several dents in it now. afew small ones from when my latch was sticking and another pretty big one from hail. ive been thinking of just filling the spots and repainting it BUT ive been thinking if it dents so easily i might as well consider swaping to a Carbon Fiber hood...
do those bend/damage to easily?
i would probably paint it to look stock on the top..... im not looking for weight saving or looks. i just want something that wont damage so easily!

RE: question about CF hoods....
so a CF hood can be damaged just as easy as stock steel hood?
id hate to see it damaged as well..... but id also hate to have to paint the hood every year or two....
the body works not the problem. i can bondo what ever and paint it myself, its just doing the work every year... over and over that can be a huge PITA!

RE: question about CF hoods....
^^^ Yes trust me CF can be more trouble then its worth, like mine will not even close because it does not have enought weight, so you have to set it down and then push it shut. But I do like the way it looks on a black car.
