Question about my new Civic
Hi all I just bought my first ever 2001 Honda Civic EX 2 door coupe vtec manual. I had some questions regarding this car.
First of I really like it, its economical, fast and the manual transmission is fun (my first manual car).
1. This car didn't come with the alloy wheels, it has hubcaps (i am assuming the rims are Honda OEM). What size are these rims, I wanted to buy a set of aftermarket alloy rims and want to get the same size since the tires that came with the care are practically brand new. If I had to guess I'd say they are 15" but I am no expert at this in any way.
2. All I know is that this car is a vtec but I dont know if its DOHC or SOHC.
3. I do plan on getting a body kit in the future for this car and perhaps the original spoiler, are these accessories hard to install for someone like me who doesnt have any experience in this field?
Thanks in advance for reading my post

RE: Question about my new Civic
The stock tire size for a 2001 Civic EX is 185/65R15 86H, and the rim size is 15x6. The bolt pattern is 4 on 100MM (4 on 3.93"). Most 15" wheels you will see for sale are going to be 15x7" (which is really too wide and not recommended for a 185mm width tire). So just be sure that the wheels you wantare available in 15x6.Another option- you go with a 16" wheel instead (called a plus one fitment) and use a 205/50R16 which is 0.4 inches shorter then stock diameter, or a 205/55R16 which is 0.4 inches taller then stock tire diameter.
