question on civic computer
ok so heres wut hapenn i have a 98 civic ex and it was supoust to have the gsr computer cuz he had a gsr engine and now burned the computer
i want to get a gsr 1 is that better?? and in how many rpm should the gsr cut?? the 1 i had used to do on 8.000 on the cluster is that rite? and the stock civic how many? hope any1 knows thxxx...........

Computer failure is rare. If it worked before but now something is wrong, like not starting, usually the problem is somewhere else. That's not to say that computers don't go bad, but it shouldn't be the first part you replace trying to fix the car.
You do need the same type of computer that was intended for your engine for best performance.

yeah MK378 i had problem wit the low rpm and it was chokin on 2.000 rpm n i took to the electritian an somthing burned in the computer even had the check engine on and i couldnt pass the state spection plusss they changed all the spection machines around here
and yeah i could go to 8000RPM on the engine without the ECU forcing redline at ~7300
and i have the stock ex engine just with air filter
