so i am working on a civic i got for 500 bucks. had a blown head gasket and some other issues. i am 18 so i really want a cool looking civic. But... i don't want like a spoiler zip tied on or a PVC cold air intake. i want it to be reliable and look cool. basically i want to replace the parts i need with something that is noticeable but still works. For instance i need new radiator hoses. I saw these Honda Civic Silicone Radiator Hose Kit 1988-1991, by Mishimoto i would end up getting the red or blue ones so it looks good but will i loose reliability. or not with these?

Long story short i want to know if there are parts i can buy that give me a cool look without making my car die every two months...

Nothing wrong with those hoses. Lifetime warranty comes with all of our product so if anything does happen, you're covered. If you are gonna pick those up, grab an assortment of hose clamps as the OEM Honda clamps will not work I believe.

You can dress up the engine bay all you want. Just be careful and don't add "too much" to where everything looks cluttered.
