I bought a set of replacement bulbs from Auto Zone and now all I have to do is defog my lenses. I did do a side by side test (one new bulb and one old bulb) and the new ones seem to be brighter even with the foggy headlights. Also, found out that Auto Zone had my replacement lug nuts. The are about $4 cheaper than the dealer.

Here are the after defogging pictures. It took some time and they are still nor perfect but they are much better then before I started. My wife even made a comment about how nice and clear not yellow they are (surprise). I also replaced the bulbs with the Sylvania top of the line bulbs available in clear, I did not want the blue.

feels pretty good knowing you DIY right? and you saved some money and have twice (my guess) the light output of those projectors

Yes, it does feel good to be able to DIY. That is the whole reason for joining this forum to get the information to be able to do it myself. It was pretty interesting to replace the bulbs. I ended up taking the bumper off (not as hard as I thought) and pulling the lamps out to be able to sand and replace the bulbs. Plus it gave me a chance to clean out a bunch of dirt.

Thanks to all of the forum members that have posted DIYs. Without the DIY I would have ended up replacing a perfectly good set of headlights. Instead I can use those $'s to make some other mods.
