RE: rhd or Ghia
well we are on civic fourm so im sayin kepp the civic, but thats not the only reason, vw's are un reliable and cost to much to get fixed if something does break. keep the civic, its already got a b16 in it so just build form there

RE: rhd or Ghia
being totally bias, but coming from someone who has driven a few VWs, id say stick with the civic. I mean, you already have a b16, which is nice, and plus you'll most likely be getting plenty more out of the civic than the VW, as far as miles go.

RE: rhd or Ghia
Tough call, and it depends on the condition of the Ghia. Civics are cute and all, but nice Karmann Ghias are highly-sought collector cars. On the other hand, the Civic will get much better gas mileage than the heavier Ghia, and it looks like we're in for some economic strife here in the short-term..
If it's not in too bad of shape, I'd say suck it up for awhile, finish up the Ghia and sell it - for a tidy profit - keeping the Civic. Or sell the Civic now and get serious about the Ghia for the long-term investment.
Of course, if either one is your daily driver, then you have an even tougher choice to make. And if you've gotten both of the cars for sentimental purposes or just because you like particulars about either one, that's where the ol' Pros & Cons list might come in handy.
Good luck with your choice. And nice Hatch, BTW.

RE: rhd or Ghia
yeah ghia was my first real car and im trying to get that on the track cause for what lil money i have thats gonna be cheaper to go faster
the eg would be a good daily driver but its gonna cost more for track. its already gonna cost me enough for a rear qrt skin and an 400 for front clip for all the lights and bumper
