No matter what size rims you go with, if you don't lower the car at all, it's going to look like you're a monster truck.... IMO.

THINK ABOUT THIS.... the outter diameter of the tire will be the same as your stock tires! your fender gap will still be there! if you change the outter tire diameter then you throw off your speedo and increase the chance for rubbing when turning in the front!

17s do look dam good IMO but......... they also ride pretty ruff and damage so much easier from pitholes! if the roads are ruff in your area most the time i would say go with some 15s, if you want the best mix of looks and ride then try 16s.
but if you do want best looks and a ruff ride go with 17s. thats what i got on my black civic but lowering it makes it look 5Xs beter!

Here's my setup, it's ride no higher or lower than the stock setup.

now is that anything like a monster truck? no, and it runs really smooth, but I think it's the tires that keep it smooth.

my car does not look like that lol. Yeah if you get 15s or 16s with low profile tires, then of course lower it.

I ASSURE YA if thats stock suspension thats what yours looks like from a level picture and a flash!

i would have rolled my car outside BUT battery is dead like always since i havent driven it in awhile for long at all! and my alarm system does drain the battery over a week of not being started....

nothing has ever been done to my car, it does not look all raised like that. Just smaller rims and tires will have that effect, then you lower it.

Those are actually 17. take a picture of your car on a lower stance, and you will see the same gap he has on your car

ya the gap is there! you just looking down on it!!!!!!!

those are same size tires that are original exterior diameter. if you change the outter tire size then you throw off your speedo... if ya want i can go take a picture of it with a stock wheel next to it... its the same diameter...

go stick...... hum.... 3-4fingers between your fender and top of tire

stock rear suspension... compared to lowered on some TEIN Stech springs...

dats my personal car with different suspensions on it. and i just put the stock parts back on it afew months ago cause i thought i was going to sell it, but i still sold the lowered suspension parts, because WHEN i do drop it again im going to use some nice adjustable setup so i can still drive the car in the winter and slamed for the summer, with stock wheels of course in winter no way im gonna risk messing up my nice wheels!
