Default rude awakening

so my girl wakes up to go to work at 7am. she runs back in saying "baby your cars gone!" all i ever do is talk about my car and what i'm gonna do next so she knows i'm gonna be pissed, and i was. look outside and sure enough its not in the driveway. i get this ****tyfeeling in my stomach and run to get the phone so i can report it. all i think is "maybe they can find it, maybe they just took it for a joy ride." then i'm like ya right, 17" chrome rims, theyve staked me out and they are gone with my baby. i had my wheel lock key in the house so maybe they cant take the wheels, but with the right impact wrench they can do anything.... then i think... "****, i guess i didnt use my kill switch that cost me $5."walk into the driveway where my car should be and begin my own investigation, csi is on the scene.... walk out to the lane and...

they took my amp and sub which is fine, they can have it, time for an upgrade... funny thing is i have an appointment to get the best compustar 2way alarm on monday installed. they took my faceplate but not the hu itself. it was a crappy old panny anyway. if you dont have your fuel pump switched then what are ya waiting for?.... saved my baby!

Sorry to hear about that.... I use a car cover to help deter theft. The way I see it, if someone is rolling through my neighborhood, they won't go to the trouble to stop and uncover a car that may just be a jalopy. I know its not foolproof but more of a last line of defence.

car cover is a good idea, i might try that, only thing is it rains a lot here so moisture will get trapped inside. sometimes i have my girl park her car behind mine but from now on that will be a must if she wants to stay here! lol. i'm not too concerned about my stereo cuz it was pieced together and i was just about to start upgrading which is why i decided that i need a full alarm system. i'm supposed to pay a $300 deductible but they say it will prolly be waived since i had a kill switch which stopped them from stealing the whole car. and all my stereo stuff will be replaced, plus i will throw in some extra money and start the upgrade. cars fine for the most part, wheels stll on, so i gotta look on the bright side.

That really sucks, I hope you can find the people who did that and castrate them. I"m glad I have a garage to park in at night.

Man that sucks but at the same rate it just goes to show how one simple little kill switch can make the difference between a car missing and a car missing stuff...... Down side is most thieves come back to the place of theft to strike again[&:]
