Rust Controlling
does anyone here who lives in snow country get their civic undercoated with oil/Rust Controled for the winter months?
Just curious....i got my 00 ex coupe done this morning.
Upstate New York winters turn into salt country which leads to rust country.

RE: Rust Controlling
if you get it done... please for the love of god get any work that the car needs done first. my step brother is mechanic and he said he can't even count the number of times that people get the car undercoated and then come in to get work done, everything is covered in oil and slippery as hell.
Just imagine trying to do work with everything covered in oil.. fun fun

well considering it is a 00 honda, i cant imagine any honda that year needing anything done........as for mine, nothing is wrong.

RE: Rust Controlling
the best thing u MUST do is undercoating.in order to fight rust in rust countries is doing it each year prior to the winter season.
but guess what im planning to move to ATlanta in the next three years.
i live in Montreal and you dont wanna try to live here
the roads are extremly bad too many holes and plus salt in winter season. thats why i will never modify any kinda car in canada coz eventually rust will eat it inside out.

Yes, they sure do. But over time you inevitably get sratches and dents, and you'd be surprised how much of a damage just one small scratch can do if left alone for two-three winters in an area like upstate NY... One usually takes care of the visible ones, but those on the bottom often go unnoticed...
