Seafoam and spark plugs

Seafoam and spark plugs
I am about to use seafoam for the 3rd time on my car. The last time was in February. I've heard that using seafoam can foul the spark plugs, is this true? And do you think I will mess them up if i use seafoam for the 3rd time on the same set of spark plugs?

RE: Seafoam and spark plugs
Probably, what I would do is just buy another set. If you prefer the expensive kind of plugs and don't want to gum them up just buy some cheap ones to run the seafoam through.
also you might want to disconnect the o2 sensor behind the cat while your smoking the seafoam out. It can gunk up that as well. Shouldn't be a big deal tho if left in, you might get a CEL for a few weeks after. But over time it will get ungunked and check out ok. Might just have to reset your ECU a couple times.

NGKs are like $12 and take about 15 minutes tops to swap in, get some new ones for after the seafoam treatment.
Also, its a good idea to run the seafoam at the end of your oil's 3000 mile life. Then, after seafoam, do an oil change.

You do know that seafoam is a once a year at the most thing to do right? Honestly, you need to do it at most every couple of years.
And seriously, spark plugs are $12 and take 3 minutes to replace lol.

dito.... shouldnt have to do it to much... after the first few times it should be pretty good for awhile! but i wouldnt swap the plugs right away.... maybe next day, because the seafoam can still have alittle bit of gunk loosened up inside the intake and valves and m ight not pop right off right away. so could fall down after ya change the plugs to gunk them up.... i typicaly wait at least 1 day then change them out. my old truck gunked up really easily!
