me and some people in my economics class were discussing theft of cars, a friend of mine who use to own a civic told me theirs asecret trick that he knoes of since civics are the #1 stolen car, he said first turn ur wheel all the way to the right, then get a masterlock and snap it on something under ur driver side dash that locks the steering wheel and doesnt allow it to move.... has anyone ever heard of this?

RE: secret civic anti-theft trick
the fuel pump runs on acc power, when you turn your key, it starts pumping, and maintains pressure.
If you bypass the normal acc power wire by adding a switch/relay, you can make the fuel pump stay off until you choose to turn it on.
It seems like a pretty nice idea if yourin a high theft area, but I would say if someone was gonna jack your car, that would just pissem off, and they would rip out your interior, seats, rims, maybe even the engine or mod's, and sell em on ebay, lol..
I second the idea for the alarm. They are cheap these days, and the starter kill they employ can keep your car from getting stolen. Alot of them have a battery backup also, so when the pro cuts the bat cable, it will still go off and disable the car.

Or a pre ignition cut off, so itcan't even be hotwired,
Fuel pump cutoff's can be located if the thief has enough time, and if they have stolen cars and/or honda's before, they will probably find it.
An Alarm going off while they are searching for it help a bit
As for the club.........
Ya I think not
And ****ty thing is....if they want it bad enough, they are going to get it. I went to High School with a kid that 2 years after grad, was indicted on 58 counts of Grand Theft Auto, ALL Honda's in Yakima WA (BAAAAAAAAAADD Place to own a tuner!) Got caught on his 7th S2000 of a car lot!!
