I scrape on Speed bumps ALL THE TIME im not exactly how low it is dropped never meassured but, i usually go over at the angle and do the one tire at a time thing i think that is the best way. Never tired the hit the gas thing maybe i will try it thanks for the tip

Yeah, the sideways things works best for me as well. Just go at it at somewhat of an angle.

ohhh the other thing you could do is get a pickaxe, wait till dark...

or put some plywood leading upto and off of it

unless u have a huge body kit and the beginning of the speed bumps are 3"+ high, u wont have a problem.

thanks a lot guys...

would there be some issue long term wise on my tires and 17 inch rims, springs, shocks,if I have to go over 8 speed bumps a day!!
the bumps aren't too big, won't scrape or anything but still uncomfortable... they probably max out at 3 inches high, i went through them today without scraping but its ironic that i always avoid shopping centers with speed bumps and now they put up 10 plus in the alley i live in....
stupid kids playing out there!!

I got 17" rims and lowerd 1.5" and no problems.....

I wouldn’t try the European approach to speed bumps I tried that once driving really fast over them in a hire car and my head nearly went through the roof, didn’t do the car much good either.
