I have a question, i was at sonic this afternoon on my 00 civic ex and a guy pulls up next to me in a 94 civic coupe with his sunroof pulled out to the back. I asked him if there was a swap from that sunroof to mine and he said it was possible, but looking around the web i read that its a bit hard. So my question is, has anyone done it and if so how hard/cost to do the swap?

 

I thought about doing something along those lines with my old car, (1994 grand prix) and I was going to actually cut the roofs and swap them that way, and then weld it back into place. Otherwise, actually cutting your original roof to the exact fitment seems like it would be a bit of a bear. I am not sure about the civics though, because the sunroof actually goes inside the roof, so that sounds a bit more complicated hacking.
