So when I bought my si hatchback from a trailer park resident he told me the sunroof would go back but not shut because the motor was bad. I took this in stride and said whatever its a moonroof now. Well i had to try it anyway, i knew about the manual shut option in the headliner that can be operated with an allen wrench so i decided i would use that. Well after reading online that the switch goes bad on these years my wife started playing with the switch. It turns out if you push the switch lightly the sunroof closes with no problems! We were both excited to say the least. I have the same problem with my volvo 240 power window switch. When i get the motivation i will disconnect the switches and clean the terminals. Until then i will enjoy my trailer park car the way it is with its billy bob rigged upness.
