I have a 98 Ex, and i want to take off the three emblems on the trunk ("H", "Civic", and "EX"). Whats the easiest way to take them off, and will it leave a mark? Are there pegs behind the emblems? Thanks for the imput.

well, no not really but the paint under it will prolly be darker and in better condition than the rest of your car and you will have holes in ur car, they will be small but still. y do u want to take them off? u wouldnt do it unless i was getting my car repainted

It's not that easy as he makes it sound. It's going to take some patience and some good ol elbow grease. And Only the H is going to have holes behind it. I would just leave it if I were you unless you are painting it.

use fishing line and move it back and forth between your trunk and your emblems. Takes a while, yeah theres usually come glue left, but if you use a LITTLE bit of Goo Gone they might come off. Using too much Goo Gone might damage your paint, i think thats waht i did. And then with the H, theres two holes where it is popped into your trunk. You can pull it off, but hten you're going to have two holes on your trunk. They're fixable, but it'll take a little work, and also i think Honda's look super good with just the "H" on there. Very symmetrical, very clean

i found it easy to use a good hair dryer and a credit card and some goo gone to take off the residue and yes there are 2 holes behind the h emblem but not the civic or ex emblems and id like to buy ur embems if u still have them
