Default Is there really a difference in power between the 2003 Civic LX and EX Models?

Hi, I'm looking at a used 2003 Civic LX coupe (automatic). I like everything about it except in reading some of the postings (including those on Edmunds.com) it seems that the power is just ok. (Most postings comment that they wish there was a bit more power). So my question is whether I should be looking at the EX model? Is there really a noticeable difference between the 115 hp LX and the 127hp EX models? Does anyone know the 0-60 performance of each model? Thanks in advance (sorry if this is s duplicate posting)
Vic

thanks folks, i did do a google and the numbers for 0-60 are anywhere from 9-10.4. They don't specify auto vs. manual so that may be the reason for the difference

The EX does have more power... but its not worlds difference. I strongly suggest you look into a 8th gen EX or a 6th gen Si

Mind posting where you get that from? I've never seen anything in Honda's advertising that says that the EX has more power than an LX. The two are virtually identical as far as the drive trains (engines and transmissions) are concerned. The only difference between them is a few cosmetic options, moon roof and stuff like that.

Just wondering?

Edit: As a reference, check out Honda's web site. It shows the exact same engine and transmissions in the DX, LX, and EX models. Same hp and torque rating. The EX is about 50 lbs heavier than the LX and the LX is about 60 lbs heavier than the DX. The reason being the difference in factory options installed on the car. So, if anything, the EX should be slightly slower than an LX or DX just because of the difference in weight. Is is anything you're likely to notice? I don't think so! JMMOC!

while what you aid is true about 8th gens, every previous gen is different. ex has always had more power than the lx
