Well today my friend is thinking about selling her 2002 rsx type-s, has 6 speed tranny, 200 hp and is infinetely faster and nicer than my auto d-series. The car has 65k~ miles on it and has been driven lightly and she will sell it for $9,500. I was thinking "lets see, if i could get back what I paid for mine, I could afford the rsx with the money I have made working plus what I get for my car."

the thing is, even though I have only had my car a few months I have grown attached to it and not sure I want to sell it lol. So guess I will talk to my parents about it and see if I can do it, if so I will have a decision to make, I am sure my insurance will go up a lot and won't get quite as good of mileage if I do it, but would be worth it.

Think I should go for it? that is if she decides to sell it.

 

I wouldn't only because I could never afford the insurance... I assume you're a teen? Get a quote before you do anything. Otherwise, it's definately an awesome oportunity! (btw, I'd sell the auto to get a 5-speed civic anywaybut that's because I hate driving automatics... lol)

 

I always kind of wanted an rsx type s, and i think i would honestly do the trade

but thats only if i didnt like my car, and i did hate my car, but after doing some mods to it..i like it

the feeling i get from having a car that is mine and modd'd the way i like it is pretty good, plus it has less miles then that rsx >

 

RSX Type-S FO SHO. That is, if you can pay the insurance without dramatically changing your life.

 

I say keep your EJ and put a turbo on it
That way your insurance wont go up, and you can get 200 hp with it.
