so, i have a 00 civic si with a jdm b18c. most throttle cables i have seen on a gsr swapped civic go around the intake manifold, but in my case it goes under it. long story short, the problem is the bracket that mounts the cable to the intake manifold doesn't seem to be the right one. i tried to mount it back up there but the cable simply pulled sideways. iv seen this as a somewhat common issue with anyone who has a gsr swapped civic and it can temporarily be fixed using zip ties, which i did, but i haven't found any solid answers. does anyone know what the correct bracket is? or would it be better to just switch the cable to one that goes around the intake manifold?
