Default timing belt and spark plugs

I have a 2002 Honda Civic LX (2dr). Has about 97k on it. The winter here is pretty harsh..and i'm planning to change its timing belt and spark plugs (previous owner hasn't change it). I was wondering how much is it to change the timing belt and spark plugs if i go to a honda dealership? Thanks. State in either US dollars or CAN dollars. Thanks. Cheers!!

P.S. 2002 Honda Civic LX uses Platinum spark plugs? If so what's the difference between the Platinum and the normal kinds? and the cost difference? Thanks guys.

If it uses platinum plugs in stock form, get platinum plugs. Get NGK Platinum. The cost difference isn't terrible.

Change the spark plugs yourself. It's incredibly simple.

For the timing belt, i'm not sure how much it'll cost. Just call them and ask. It varies by dealership.
