I'm considering trading my EG in for an EK. It is a tough decision and I'm looking for some input and some advice.

The guy emailed me and offered a trade straight up.

 

personally i likethe ek body style better. But I like the EF the most.

 

That's is fine, but I was looking for more of a "is this worth it" not which body style is better.
I love the EG and if done right love the EK.
Based on the ad's do you think I would be smart to trade him?

Wow, really? I was not expecting that at all. I personally like his car more and maybe we can work something out.
I think I rushed into buying my car and regret it a little.

 

Now that I think about it, I'll probably just keep my car since I've already put about a grand into after I bought it. I don't really want to go through buying all the little miscellanious parts to make it pass e-test and all that, since I just did that for this car. Also, after talking to this guy he seems to be very illiterate and I just cant trust that. It seems he is not telling me something.
So I'll keep this car until next summer or so then get a EG or EK hatch, swap engine, turbo, suspension, rims, lip kit, gauges, you know all that good stuff. No more rice for me after this.

i looks like a good trade to me sounds pretty fair if thats the car you want do it

 

i just read your second post and your probly right shady people you dont do deals with cuz you never know whats wrong with tha car under niether all the nice paint and body work
