i personally dont think i/h/e will help taht much you might get like 3 hp tops lol... ... imo ... 168 for a civic isnt that much lol its only 168... there was a civic here with 450 000 miles and still running stong... and my cousin had one with 275 000 and it was a 94 sold it for 3400 ... so 168 isnt much... my 2000 ex sedan has 65 555 :-D even tho it got hit two times in a week

You're wrong stefo, that is a lot of miles for a car being driven for only 6-7 years. My car is a 93 and has 185k on it. (Driven for 13 years)

when i work at the honda dealership i seen alot of 2000 and newer cars with more miles then 168k on em.

also seen an old accord 91 i think, that body at least, it had over 500k on it had always can to that shop and been serviced very well, same motor and did not smoke at all, car ran smooth, didnt even chater any more then any other car, things like that is what made me buy one

Personally I wouldn't waste money on bolt ons. Do some suspension upgrades, that'll make the car significantly more fun to drive. Then save your dollars for either a swap, or a mild rebuild with boost.

why have i seen people post hp gains IMO lately? hp is not opinion. its cold hard fact. I/H/E isnt going to make the car crazy fast and make you smoke every car you try to race, but it will give a noticeable gain, probably 7-12 to the wheels.

I agree...imo, lol. Anywho, I posted an article out of Import Tuner where they did IHE on a 98 Civic EX and I think it netted like 5-7hp, and 1 or 2 ft/lbs. It wasn't top of the line gear, but it wasn't from ebay either.

sacs, nice sig by the way, bastard

I would waste my money on the bolts on lol,it'll makea real fun DD (specially with a susepnsion upgrade), but if you want real hp, like Forty said, a mild rebuil and boost it. He knows what he's talking about, he just boosted his sh*t
