Default Upgrading tire sizes?

I was wondering if any of you had upgraded your tire sizes and the advantage of doing so. Also, can you upgrade the size of your front tires and leave the back alone? How do you go about it, buying new rims?
What size would you recommend, and would it add to the weight maximum weight of 850 pounds max for 5 people and your cargo? Thanks it is just that I had4 friends of mine in the car today and I could feel it driving heavier and I was wondering if bigger tires help.

Thanks

Here are the sizes now:[*]Front Tire Size: P195/60HR15[*]Rear Tire Size: P195/60HR15

Call the folks at The Tire Rack and/or Discount Tires Direct. You can find their phone number on their websites. They will give you good advice.

You can change your tires, but it won't help the vehicle's capacity much, if at all. The suspension, mounts, bearings, etc. can only handle so much. Run the max PSI indicated on the tire sidewalls when you're loaded down. Plus-1 or Plus-2 your wheels with lightweight rims and UHP tires if you want to improve handling. You can also add adjustable anti-swaybars, strut braces, and aftermarket springs/shocks for better handling.
