Default VAlve adjust d15

hey guys

quick question i did the valves once lol but i forgot the measures
d15b2

to adjust the valves is it
8-exhaust 10-intake
or 10-exhaust 8-intake

i did a 8/10 yesturday but i get a lil knock around 2 1/2 rpms
what u guys think

Should be 10/8 (exhaust/intake).

Is the knock coming from the head or block?

coming from the head lik if the valves are too loose n i guess they are cuz i did them wrong // i did 8 on exhaust which there to tight n 10 on intake so to loose some times i wonder about myself ...

thanks im sure this will solve my problems besides the oil leak that came from now where all of a sudden lol one problem after another ahh lol

It's also important to do the adjustment only when the engine is completely cold.

Valve noise should be real noticeable at idle. If you're hearing noise only at speed it could be something else.

nope it was valves i jus did the adjustment wrong i did 8/10 when it was 10/8
problems all fixd car runs liik a champ again

the story on my 91 dx civvi
i started out buying this car for 400 didnt run got it to run only went 5mph lol
hadd water in tank clean tank fresh gass then it drove good
untill i noticed i was running on 2 cylinders hahaha
sparkplugs i got 1-3 cylinders to go good
i really wanted 4th to fire so i went deep i started off with the timing it ran better but no 4th then i did valves the first time around ran better but no 4th finally i figured it was a piston but as soon as i pulld the head i new it was valves i found a new head about 2 weeks ago at wreck yard with new valves 1buck each woo
long process it took but i put the valves on my civic did the timing n just finished adjusting valves
no noise 4ths firing long road it was but finally its running lik brand new except a lil oil leak that came out of no where today haha
i wanna special thanks to evryone on forum that help me get throo this fight
thanks guys all help is vary appreciated
